i need a new beer to drink, any suggestions?

my favorite has been Stella Artois and Pilsner.

i'm looking for a beer that doesn't have that bad of an aftertaste, and isnt too dark.
No citrus flavor beer please (after hoegaarden I'll never drink any citrus beer again).

I'm also not a big fan of Canadian beer, as it seems to have a crappy aftertaste and usually makes me physically ill

suggestions please!

Personally: Heineken, first beer I ever had a taste for, been loyal to it since. Nothing else I've tried I've enjoyed nearly as much (except a Guinness once in a while). A very widely enjoyed choice, I believe.

Great drink when i was younger, but cant handle the crown with coke/pep anymore, too much heartburn. Now gingerale is delicious.

Belgo sells it, but just bottle, only place i've seen it, but havnt gone looking for it.

And as for my favorite all time beer, Coors original, if they sold that in Canada I'd be in heaven.

i go thru phases of my 'usual' beer
lately tho it's been either Rickards White (which i'm getting tired of)
Kokanee Gold
and i usually have Old Milwaukee in the fridge....it's actually pretty damn good. i prefer it over stella that's for damn sure!

Wheat beers are my go to.

Grasshopper is my standard as they have it almost everywhere. If they don't, they'll have Rickards White.

Liquor stores that carry Unibrue's Blanche de Chambly will always have me buying that, but because most places only carry the 750ml, it's not a 'have just one' beer!

Lately I've been drinking Guinness if 'm going to have a few or more just to keep the calorie count down - it does have fewer cals than most regular beers, so over 10+ beers, it makes a bit of a difference.

i dont think it is so much the alcohol content that makes it strong, just the overall tasted seems to make it hard to drink, i dunno i stick to the singles and blondes for the most part, some dubbels are okay too, but the triples are a bit much for me haha

I love Red Stripe and Strongbow. If you can get it in Calgary, you should try Aprikat beer by a micro brewery in Edmonton called Alley Kat. Most people I know either really like it or can't stand it.

There are some other Belgium fruit beers which are awesome too. I can't find them in Edmonton but did manage to get the raspberry one in a liquor store in Kensington. They're usually sold by the bottle (smaller bottles) and have a kind of gold foil around the neck. These are really good but expensive.

To get hammered; Molson Dry, Bud (like friggin water), Canadian.

To enjoy with a meal : Corona, keiths (which is not a true IPA) Draft Ricards white.

Wings : CCoors/Pilsner depending on how redneck I feel hahaha.

General thirst quenching : Nothing beats Clam/beer Usually I do it with canadian so I dont feel to bad about ruining the taste of the beer, with the salty sweet goodness of clamato juice.
