http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y220/95EagleAWD/DSC00757.jpg

It should be good for 300 whp or so right now... I'm looking at a GT35R kit that's supposed to be good for 600 crank HP with no meth. So with meth... I'm hoping, eventually for 475-500 whp on this thing.

Looking forward to actually getting it. :blue:

It isn't that modded... as far as some of these go.

I'll save thousands on those parts alone, especially stuff like the JDM/EDM rear end. That's tons of money right there.

Amazing car Ryan, I'm definitely jealous. Just to clear something up for me though, it's running 22psi on a stock fuel pump and not tuned? Is that normal for Evo's?

Good question. He says it runs pretty damn good, and I know the Evo tune from the factory is way, way rich. So it may work. In any case, that 255 is going in and I'm getting EcuFlash to tune it with.

Everyone else, thanks. It should be in Edmonton mid-February I'm hoping. I can hardly wait.

Anywhere from 23 - 28 psi is pretty normal for VIII's, IX's, and even X's. lt's really dependent on the tune as stick internals can handle alot it's a matter of ensuring that you have enough fuel.

BTW: Beautiful car man.

Because the novelty wears off fast. They are small, uncomfortable, hard to see out of with the top up and pretty slow. Reving the shit of out it is fun for about 10 minutes but it gets old fast.
Don't get me wrong it would be a fun 2nd car to have but as a daily driver it sucks. It was probably the best pure sports car I've ever driven but it's hard to live with it every day if you drive in rush hour etc.

Is the stock fuel pump capable of supplying enough fuel though, because that's what is in it now at 22psi?

Yeah, the 8s have a 220 lph pump I think and the 9s have a 255 stock. They should have no problem pushing gas through them.

Beauty!

Lots of Evo's in Edmonton now.. I wish 2 years could go by just a little faster so I can finally get my IX.

Any major plans for the car, or keeping it the way she is for now?

Probably keep it like this for this summer, then it's GT35R with meth and shooting for 500 whp.

NICE CAR, thats a rare one, one question is this car going to be registered under a evo or just a normal lancer, so their allowing these in Canada now? How much is the gt35r kit going to cost you if you don't mind me asking.

Transport Canada's laws on importing cars from the US has been relaxed. If the car can be bought and registered in the US, you can pretty much register it here... someone correct me if I'm wrong.

EVO's were not allowed due to canadian bumper laws, now the laws have been harmonized so they are allowed to be imported :)

so you are 100% correct

The physical length of the shifter lever has no bearing on the length of the throws.

I bought it off a guy on DSMTalk.com.

People vouched for the car, so I'm not too nervous.
