ok I made this powerpoint for my class presentation tonight, but I've never made a powerpoint with wav files before.. what it does is when a slide comes up the wav file will play automatically.

it works fine on my desktop.. my question is, if i burn the ppt file onto a cd and bring it to school, will my wavs work?

I'm pretty sure the ppt file contains all the jpg/wav/whatever files needed.

PS: sound files and animations in powerpoint presentations are cheesy. :D

LOL i know, our project for this class requies sound files and wavs because without it the project wouldn't happen :D

be careful as how to use them. yes they are cheesy during the actual presentation. i suggest you only use them for intro or have it really timed out during presentation.

anyways, when you link a powerpoint slide to a wav file you state a location of where it is. well as long as when you move the file to the another computer you put the wav file in the same location.

i suggest on your home computer, put both your powerpoint file and your wav files on to your desktop. make sure it works. then burn them to cd, copy it to your schools desktop. it should work.
