I typically go to the UFA for these things. But I'm sure they sell the same stuff as home depot, etc.

I've seen them at Canadian Tire - lots of different types.

If you see glue traps, avoid - too many stories from my wife who worked at crappy tire. Most of them involve the mice ripping their own skin getting unstuck, bleeding everywhere, and then dying.

Effective (kills mice, rats, chipmunks and ground squirrels)
Compact (10" x 4" x 4")

I'm surprised they left out cats. I can totally see people using this on cats!

If you want to travel to Innisfail to get some I will sell you a whack of good ones for 20 bucks. The old tenant in my house was an exterminator and there are 18 of the steel traps that they walk into and get stuck and about 20 of the good qualitysnap type traps. You can have them all for 20 bucks.
Think I may have some glue traps also, maybe even a couple rat traps with the rat poison in them.

Go to canadian tire and pick up a couple of these:

reusable, easy to bait (peanut butter), easy to set and it works.

I will never ever use glue traps again. I thought they would be great, until I had a baby mouse stuck on one and it was squealing and crying.

The CIL Snap-E best, works everytime, never fails. On the cheap side Dollar stores sell the old wood ones like 3 or 4 for a $1.00

Otherwise get a cat or a terrier. Our Airedale routinely catches them.

Use the glue traps....I've used them a ton and never seen any mice ripping their skin off to get out...I doubt the mice are that strong.

If you can stomach finding the mice stuck to the trap alive, then you will find these are the best bang for your buck.

Most glue traps suffocate the mouse immediately after they are caught. Their faces get stuck in the glue and death comes pretty quickly.

Glue traps are kinda gross but they are very effective.

Meh, sometimes they work sometimes they don't. I've seen some mice just run right over them. When it works, it works goooood. I wouldnt use it in the house because they'll just poo all around where they get stuck.

yeah they work pretty well, never seen a mouse rip themselves away, the adhesive does wear out after awhile, so after a month or two if you still got a prob, throw it out and buy some new ones
