His what I drive says he drives a RXV550. Maybe he just needs to brush his teeth or wash his hair or even just crack the visor open a touch to let some air in his helmet.

Try replacing the cabin filters, they're supposed to be done regularly and most cars don't have them changed at all. It'll probably be a nice shade of black. Other than that get in and shampoo the seats or take it to a detailer to have it done. That's where most of the odours stick.

I also have an F350. The RXV is a little cold this time of year. The smell is just kinda musty, maybe it's a mix of farts, fast food, wet carpet, the dog??? Who really knows? Do I have to call the guys from CSI for an evaluation.

***The question was simple - Does anyone know anything about Auto Immunity?***

Cheers,

Here's what I want to know:

- how much work was it

- what was the stink from (if you know)

- what did it cost?

- did you do it yourself?

- VERY EASY, no work involved
- vomit, pet odour & kids always spill food & pop while eating
- cost was $119.95, but I saved another 10% being an AMA member; it was way cheaper than a detail for $300.00
- I did it myself, took 2 minutes to drop the packet of Auto Immunity in my van

Hope this helps you out!

Febreeze is a temporary measure. It only covers up the smell for a short period of time.

The stink ultimately comes from a dirty car. Get the carpet shampooed, upholstery properly cleaned and wash the car from top to bottom or the stink will keep returning.

Also if you have a pollen filter for the A/C and heater I would change that as well.

Thanks for the info. I can't seem to find them on the web. Do you know a contact number or web address for Auto Immunity? I'd happily pay 100 bones to get rid of the stink.

This Auto Immunity makes me wonder if it will work like

what about the odors that are absorbed into your seats and stuff?

from the website i think its just a package you leave in your car out of the sunglight , than take it out and air out the car

Any way you can describe what the car smells like?

When does it smell. What kind of car? How old is it?

I friend of mine couldn't figure out why a car he just bought smelled funny when idling. I opened the hood and the PCV was disconnected and a hose was running to a catch can - about 3" away from the hvac intake. He was running synthetic oil and because he kept febreezing the car's interior it had a really strong kind non oily skanky smell to it when the oil fumes mixed in with the febreeze smell. He slapped in a pcv and lo and behold the car both ran and smelled better.

Find the cause of the odor. Covering it up isn't going to do anything.

it completely removed the foul odours in my seats...they smelt like new after application. also i don't have a garage so i put the package in my vehicle after the sun went down around 4pm.
at 11pm I went back and cracked the windows... i let it air out overnight. the next day i went to work like normal. it smelt so fresh and clean!

also throw a box of that baking soda for fridges with the openable sides. that will keep the air fresh and keep the moisture level down. it costs like $2.50 for a box.
