I hate to be the nerd that ruins your title... but storm troopers didnt pilot TIE Fighters. This is what the pilots looked like:

Let's take it to the max... also, TIE fighters were not white they were grey or blue-grey. X-Wings were mainly white, so if anything that's a Lotus X-wing with a stormtrooper in it.

nj2Type-S is correct...that would be an A-Wing'd DelSol, NOT an X-Wing.

The X-Wing featured S-Foils in the shape of an X (when locked in attack position) with a laser cannon at the end of each foil. The A-Wing had only two laser cannons, one mounted on the end of each if its 'mini-wings.' Since we're only seeing one cannon here (in the green part on the bottom of the door) this would be an A-Wing.

Nope, RZ-1 A-Wings don't have astromech droids (R2 units) on board. Only T-65 X-Wings & BTL Y-Wings do

:werd: R2 units in X-wings. I didn't say Y-wing because of the laser cannons directly by the sides of the pilot/driver(??) cockpit window. A Y-wing would also have a roof mounted ion cannon turret and dual-IX4 laser cannons on the front bumper.

But yeah to be a true X-wing there should be 2 visible cannons per side. Maybe the Del Sol is some type of X or Y inspired landspeeder vehicle.
