Lake Louise Card

I got a couple of lake louise cards with my wife. We already used the 1st free day on the cards, but we usually only go for half day snowboarding (after noon). Does a half day trip to lake louise count as a 2nd day visit towards the count, or do you have to go for the whole days for the 2nd and 3rd visits to count towards the 4th free day?
