I get 5 calls about my car about my car but all of them are some kind of company trying to get me to list with them, guaranteeing me a sale, matching buyer with seller, offering financing etc. :facepalm:

These guys just need to go fuck themselves. :guns:

Ive heard it's become difficult to sell a vehicle through trader now. Even with Kijiji you still get hit with email spam now and again .. not nearly as bad though.

This sounds like that outfit that was around a few years ago, Great Cars & Trucks or something like that. It was a total scam.

The last 2 listing in the Auto Trader were a nightmare for me...a ton of calls, however none were "real" buyers. They all started legit asking me about my truck/car, km's, condition, if I am open to offers etc...then they give you the old, "would you pay $500 if we guarantee you a buyer" bullshit.

The Auto Trader has gone downhill lately...its expensive and now a complete hassle dealing with scammers.

Autotrader is a total waste of money now. It’s just a front for a bunch of used car dealerships. I don’t even bother looking at it anymore because for every search, %99 of the hits are used car dealers. No private sellers. Just like ebay turned into.

This is a stupid scam. haha just make racial slurs and insults towards the person on the phone. That is if you get a live person. Sometimes its a machine.

Kijiji is the way to go. Autotrader is garbage now. Why pay for something that should be free?
