It January and i've been thinking about what to do this summer. I picked up a Civic late last winter, and began a mild build on it. I almost sold is last fall, but glad i didn't. I have decided to continue with it this year as stage two.
Here's a brief overview of how the car started out.
I picked up the car with a blown engine, perfect reason to tear it apart. Here's how it looked as i picked it up. Clean body

Here's the new engine that is very overlooked, many people don't realize its potential and how under rated is it. This is a 00 model JDM B20, same as the usdm B20Z. It came from an awd car called an Orthia
here's the engine

Here's what it came from

So i mated the engine up with a 00 Integra LS tranny, axels and found a PR4 ecu, along with a frog OBDI harness conversion. Under the hood, i dropped an Edelbrock SS header, short ram intake, and a Toda flywheel to keep it all rev happy
The rad was upgraded with a dual core unit from a dohc vtec Del Sol

Close the hood and boom, stock looking car :)

Inside, i spiced it up with a couple tasteful goodies
EK4 leather wrap steering wheel w/red stitch

Cluster with tach

EL arm rest

Then got rid of those terrible oem EK seats in favor of some GSR's

Out the back, the exhaust was upgraded with larger SS piping into a very nice sounding twin loop design muffler

With limited traction, i upgraded the wheels/tires for a wider and stickier setup, but kept it simple

This is pretty much how it sits now. The next major power adder is still being decided, but i think car may see some boost this season, but not sure yet.

That car was fun as hell to take a ride in, if you need a wrench I'm not to far away and will work to just to learn!
How about a k20/24 bored and stroked good for 9000 rpm 270whp and will run on pump gas :D
Otherwise I may have a certain set of 12:1 compression 84mm pistons laying around that I am more than willing to get rid of.

I was lucky enough to go in 2 b20 powered ek's, Deetz's being one of them and they are torquy little engines haha. I couldn't get over how quick Deetz's car was when he picked up some parts off my old ek.

Sweet build, nice to see a B20 swap rather than b16/18

Nice swap you got going there. A friend of mine swapped a B20z into his integra. Very nice little engine. Where did you pick up the twin-loop exhaust from?

Is the engine you used the same as a jdm B20a? found in an 89-91 prelude?

No and no. The B20A is "not" a b series engine. It share nothing with the b series line up and is not known to be very good in the long term for performance or reliability.

It is just a no name brand i picked up from a good muffler shop in Edmonton called ABC muffler and hitch. I love the design and the sound.....its not loud or ricey. Here's a link to what i have on the car.

If you don't mind me asking how much did you pick it up for?

Mine was a freebie. Being i work in the auto industry has its perks. I would think you could just get one on ebay or something for a hundred bucks landed.
