leather door inserts..peeling them

hey guys

just traded my stock suede inserts for leather inserts and was gonna rip off the old leather. i wanna rewrap them in some brand new suede i got now should i just wrap over the leather? that definetly dosent seem right to me...

or shold i peel off the leather and scrape off any exccess material then glue on the new suede.....just had to be sure

advice would be most appreciated

yah dont cover the leather take the leather off for sure.

If you wrap over top of the leather the inserts might not wanna fit back in and the door handle cups will be a pain and will probably break.

thanx for the tips guys


just ripped off the leather... foam suprsingly behind it stayed intact except for the middle where it ripped off a bit.. just fixed it up with some shredded cotton balls
