Probably because they are still having record sales with the release of the Forester and Impreza line up. But it will be interesting to see how close the actual production car will look to this when its release later this year along with the new Outback. I just dont remember which one will be out first or if they are both set for the same time. I saw a concept of the Legacy last spring and it wasent too far from what we see now. I just hope they change that god awful grill/bumper:barf: However the LED lights in the the front are supposed to stay...
