once again the canadians are over shadowed by the americans' abundance of variety.

nope, you can't pick it up and drive it back....

just like the skyline and all other awesome japanese cars, you cannot legally import one for personal (or any) use until the vehicle is 15 years old...

Sure you could drive one in canada, but it would have to be with US plates, US insurance, and US registration.... i don't know too many people that could really pull that off...

gotta love the canadian government....

Yes, this is great i guess, and sorry to be a party pooper, but the things going to be pretty expensive. Not quite as expensive as those Motorex-imported Skylines mind you, but S15 Silvias are still going to have to be changed a lot in order to meet emissions and bumper regulations. Motorex had to submit Skylines to the DOT for crash testing. Along with the destroyed car, it cost $50000 dollars per crash. Thats why their prices are so high. Expect the same in this situation. And for all of the people in Canada, S15 Silvias aren't allowed even if they are modified to meet federal and local laws, because they were not originally complying with them. For this reason, like AaronS13 said, you can only import cars from other than US domestic markets if they are 15 years or older (going by their release date in years and months). So most of us Canadians have to make do with S13s and FC3s and the like. This is somewhat of a downside, but because there is no modification to the car involved, the price replicates the same type of car being sold locally. Anyways, thats my two cents.

i'm sure there's a way around it..... i mean... how the heck did R34 GTRs get legalized for registration in SASKATCHEWAN?? (of all places...) lol.

but like brandobutt said.. probably cost more than it's worth
