As the title says ... Looking for someone to build the basement for us. We started a few years ago, did the electrical wiring (inspected by the city) and dry-walled but then stopped there. Didn't have the patience to do the taping etc.

We are looking at developing it now. I figured I'd post here to see if anyone wants this job and can provide us with a quote on how much it will take. We are in Coventry Hills, you can come out and take a look at what you'd be working with for a more accurate quote.

PM me if interested.

Thanks.

+2 for barmanjay, he even helped cover some of the drywall that I did (horribly) myself

Has the price for developing basement gone down with the current economic woes?

dont count on it as everyone is going to do renos and take advantage of the tax cuts. This will in turn have reno companys busy.

Barmanjay is currently working on my basement and I can definitely vouch for him. He takes pride in his work and has a great attention to detail with a focus on quality.

You will not be disappointed if you decide to go with him.

How much would it roughly cost to develop a basic basement that's about a 1000 squarefeet? Looking to build a media room and a bathroom down there.
