Cheap NW gym

I've been looking for a cheap gym in the NW but really haven't came across anything too successful (40$+). I enjoy going to Cardel but at 50$+ a month it doesn't seem like its something I can afford every month. If anyone can give me a suggestion it would be great and preferably in the Beddington/Country Hills area.

PS: I did a search with not much success

Crowfoot YMCA but that is close to $60 a month.

im sure City of Calgary gyms and rec. are pretty affordable.

if he's a student why not use the school gym?
Most schools have a fitness cost added to your registration.

Fitness NW in Silver Springs generally has decent prices, I think I saw advertisements out front saying around $35 a month.

thorn hill has a gym by the library on center street, its pretty cheap i think it was about 5$

Thanks for the offer Leah, but i think I'm just going to sign up at Cardel. I do have a school gym pass but the thing is I hate having to drive to SAIT every day in the cold. Cardel is a 5 min drive as opposed to 15-20 for SAIT.

Just get an annual pass, saves you quite a bit of money.
And they have benefits for annual pass members.

Cardel is close by but it can be crowded at times.

cardel is pretty good in the evenings after 8 when i used to go there.
