It all depends on the snow condition

I had my best days in fernie when it snowed a foot the night before I got there
but I've also had days 3 weeks ago and it was like a sheet of ice.

Upper mountain usually have quite a bit of powder and it's quite windy.

I've had some of my best snow days ever there, when it snows there its out of control.

But unless it snowed in the last few days everything out there is rock hard. The cold snap froze everything the Chinook melted...
Although if this Chinook holds the snow should be decent.

All in all, its always worth the trek, chill city to party in too.
