Hey lads,

anyone know of a good lounge for a first date somewhere in the SE or by Mount Royal College? Not too familiar with that area so where's a good place to go kick back have a few drinkies and chillax and talk? If all else fails, it's off to the speakeasy!! ;)

Cheers!

Are you going for dinner too or just drinks?

Ok... well if you want dinner somewhere relatively intimate. Chili Club Thai House is on 17 Ave and 30 something sw. Great food, not super expensive, intimate and a favorite of mine.

There is a pub in Signal Hill shopping area called Seanachie Irish Pub. The food is decent, drinks are good; but it is a pub. So that may not be the best environment to chat during a first date.

Bass Bros is another Pub that comes to mind in that area. I cant vouch for the food, drinks or atmosphere. But its close to the college.

Narah Hooka Lounge is near there too. If thats something that is of interest to you.
