Best Philly Cheesesteak in Calgary?

Is it just me or is it nearly impossible to find a great Philly Cheesesteak in Calgary? Has anyone found an exceptionally good one anywhere local?

Everything I have found in Calgary is the same dry meat on the old dry bun, with the boring mozza cheese and bland peppers and onions. So dry, so boring.

I remember once having an edible cheesesteak at Nicks Steakhouse, but I haven't been back to see if it was a fluke or not.

Moxie's is amazing. I had a few Philly Cheesesteaks when I was in Vegas back in Oct and they didnt compare to Moxies. I only had one here in Calgary and it was decent but I used to have them all the time when I lived up North and they are awesome. I've also heard Chilli's have them but I havent tried theirs yet.

I was going to say my favorite one is at Moxies as well, but didn't feel like putting on my flame suit hahaha.

But yeah that's the best one that I've had thus far in this city.

I remember they use to have a philly cheese steak in TD Mall... But they are gone now :(

Fergus and Bix on 85th st SW (back behind COP in Cougar Ridge/Wentworth) has the best one i've found. They've got a good teriyaki sauce for it. YUM!

Original Joe's had a great one a few years ago...took it off the menu though. I think Joe's was better when there was only 3 locations, not 10

Moxies was the best one I have had in Calgary.

The best one I have had in Calgary (aside from the old place in TD) is at The Palomino downtown.

Honestly, Moxies has one of the best beef dips i've ever had (i know it's not a philly cheese steak, but it surprised me how good their beef dip was!)

+1 Although on occasion they over-sauce it.
