I have a few gold rings and chains. They are basically old, unwanted gold jewelry,not very nice looking style-wise.

Is this type of gold worth the same as the posted prices for gold (ie. $1135/ounce Feb 2)?

Where can I sell this old jewelery as gold (versus a pawn shop as jewelry) and how much would it be worth?

you will never get full market value for it

try Sungold, they will smelt it down to 24k... it needs to be pure to be worth market value and then you can try to sell it however you like.

You can have it melted down but you’d be surprised how much gold jewelry it takes to get 1 oz of pure 24k gold. It’s’ an eye opener to what a rip off jewelry really is for the most part

when you use e-trade or whatever, can you buy "stocks" in gold


or do you have to buy an ounce at a time
