Hey guys. There is an opening for a Machinist, either Apprentice or Journeyman at this shop in the SE, close to the RoadKing on 50th and Barlow.
Basically he's looking for a younger person as they're not so "set in their ways" and are generally more teachable. So under 35 I'd assume.
The pay is depending on experience, and the hours would be part time to start, to see how you pan out, before being hired on, on a full time basis. What hours are to be worked are negotiable also, dependent on the shops hours, as well as yours.
Some of the CNC machines are an Okuma Mac Turn 250, and a Okuma Cadet. CNC operation, set-up and programming are a huge asset.
The work varies a great deal, some work is production, other work is in the form of one offs at the customers request.
Call Shelton or Kevin at (403) 248-3579. Shelton is the HR rep, but will be a way until the second week of Feb. Kevin will be out of office until the end of the first week of Feb.

or email the resume and all relevant references to careers (at) qsine.ca

Good luck:)
