International Volunteering

I am interested in volunteering some time this summer (1-2 months). I prefer to go international and have done some research and just looking for experience anyone may have had. I am focusing on the Galapagos. They seem to have a really good volunteer program in place. Room and board with various day trips included. Anyways, just curious if anyone has done something like this.

Oh, I should also add, I am mainly interested in helping animals/habitat conservation. Just a personal preference.
