there is a exhaust leak where the header meets the turbo.

How bad is the leak, Would it possibly need replacing? Be honest because im interested in the car and dont want an additional $1500 problem.

^$1500 to fix an exhaust leak? or is this assuming you're sending somewhere to get it fixed, any exhaust side gasket on an SR is less than 40$ from what i remember even the s15 metallic one, even then you can throw some RTV red hitemp silicone on it for the time being.

2 hours at most if you've never done it and a 30-40$ gasket and you're good for any of the 3 (iirc) gaskets

The gasktet between the mani. and the turbo is likely blown out (very common) - it is good to change anyways because you get to do all the gaskets (only oem) which is about $150 (get s15 exhaust mani gasket)

Do your oil and water lines as well at this point with stainless lines ($170ish from circuit sports) and your set.

definately a good buy
