Thought I would make a review

Ikea
Southland Drive and Deerfoot Tr SW

- Food rating 4/5
- Ambience 2/5
- Service 5/5

The food is decent and the portions are pretty fair. Its not the best food out there but its decent and very well priced. The Sweedish Meatballs are pretty good!! There is a lot of variety and I'm sure you'll find something you want.

Its basically a cafeteria you line up and get what you want.

The service is pretty good the people that get your food are really nice other than that there is no servce. You need to clean up after yourself.

I had Pasta + Meatballs + Apple Juice + Bread = ~ $6.00

oh yeah they also have 50 cent hotdogs, there is definitely some value in those!! I highly recommend them.

I recommend it and I will go back.

Great review.. It's been a while since I've been there....I'll be sure to hit it up sometime soon.

Any recommendations as what me and my date should wear for dinner on a Saturday evening?

Best review ever!

My grandfather made a point of eating their hotdogs every Sunday!

I find the gravy odd. I can't identify if it's beef or poultry gravy, which disturbs me, and I really like it, which disturbs me more.
Lingonberry sauce is awesome on pretty much anything they serve. Ask for extra.

Food is better and cheaper than any of the nearby "fast" food outlets, and service is less annoying. I find myself eating there whenever I'm in the area, which usually ends up with me buying some sort of kitchen gadget, or a shitty chair. Ikea wins again.

I liked their meatballs enough to buy a package of frozen ones, wiht the lingonberry sauce in their food store/marketplace right across from the checkouts so I could make some at home in the toaster oven. :)

For cafeteria food it's not to shabby and you can't beat the prices. Had it once while we were shopping around and it made for a nice little break that the whole family enjoyed.

Nothing says 'family bonding' like ice cream and then building furniture later.

Pretty sure it is. But it tastes and looks like ice cream, so it can be tofu for all I care!

I'm not so sure I would rate the food 4/5. In perspective of it being a cafeteria, sure. But overall, I'd give it a 2.5/5 at best. (The meatballs taste pretty good, but the quality isn't really there...)

I go there about once every two weeks, it's decent food, quick, fairly healthy (compared to fast food), the seating area is nice and bright and above all CHEAP! :D

Meatball combo FTW!

...and cost you about $200 for a side table, picture frames, closet organizer and like 300 candles. It always turns out to be the most expensive $0.50 Hotdog.

yea man, i was gonna say something along these lines, but it's hard being a jerkoff all the time ;)

that's like saying a Big Mac gets a 4/5... but shit, no matter How fresh it is, and even if it's the best big mac you've ever had in your life, it just can't compare to 'real' food
