Here's the situation:
I've got an older 80GB SATA HDD with all my files on it. Running XP pro SP3. I've run out of space so I picked up a new SEAGATE 250GB Barracuda.

BIOS detects the new HD no problem but it takes a insane amount of time to load XP Pro from my old HD. When everything is finally loaded, first time I started it back up, Disk Manager detected the new HD. Ran the windows wizard to initialize the drive but it froze. Rebooted and now Windows doesn't detect the new HD in Disk Management.
Tried a fresh install of XP Pro on the new HD. (Disconnected the old one). Again, setup detects it but when I try and create a partition, nothing happens.
I'm getting frustrated:banghead: Any ideas people?
