Completely clueless when it comes to computers internals, but I have PC3200 512MB x 3 sticks...would this work along side those?

How many RAM slots do you have? If you only have 3 slots, you'll have to yank out one of the 512 MB sticks and replace it with the 1 GB. It should work fine though. If you have a 4th slot, then you can just stick the 1 GB in and it should be okay.
