Hit and Run

Great first a nice popped tire and then this...i left my jimmy in the parking lot at home depot...came back out about a 1/2 an hour later and find that somebody hit my back liftgate and made a HUGE dent..now im really pissed off..should i tell my insurance company or go pay outta my pocket to get it fixed? thanks

you should get an estimate first and whats your deductable?if the damage is under 1000 then i would just pay for damage,but if the damage is over the price of your deductable then go through your insurance.usually when you make a claim under hit and run your premiums dont go up.on my old prelude i got hit and runned 2 times in one month.so good luck to you and i hope this helps you out in someway
