Question about school - tattoo

Im curious do you need to go to school to become a tatto artist? or can u just get a license to tattoo others? I been trying to look up around the web and have seen some school for tattoo school.

Just wanting everyone elses opinion on how can someone get a license or would know any other info on getting one.

your best bet would be to go and talk to an actual artist... im pretty sure tattoo artists have to do an apprenticeship

Correct.

It also helps if you have gone to an art school of some sort. I have a friend that just got into the industry, and he attended ACAD.

Also have a good artists portfolio to show the shop you want to apprentice for...

ok thanxs.. hmmm i dont hve much background on being in any art school but i do know I can draw.. soo i guess i will just go check out a tattoo store and see from there .. or talk to a tattoo artist i mean.
