***SOLD***

Well I do not want to do this but I picked up a brand new Evo MR last week and now I have to sell off all my toys :(

This is a 2006 Yamaha R6 for sale with 6206 Km's on it; I mainly used it as my weekend toy on the high way and the odd nice day I would take it to work. If you want a fast toy that gets awesome gas milage this is it. It cost between $12-14 to fill the tank and I would get from 250-275 (saw 300km a few times) to a tank of gas.

Not used as racer (never seen a track) or a stunt toy as the tires are still the original ones and have a lot of tread left on them (you can still faintly see the yellow lines that come on them when they are new). The Bike also sits in a heated garage all year round never parked and left outside (I am the paranoid type). It also got the oil changed every off season.

Ok well on to some info on the bike

I was just talking with OP

Also it has a "rebuilt" status but it was from the 1st owner. He laid it down with only 500kms on it and had it fixed up by Alberta Cycle in Edmonton which gave it's "rebuilt" status. But it did pass Alberta safety or else it would not be able to be insured/registered nor would I have bought it. I had my own inspection done on it before I bought it as well and it passed with flying colors and since then I have babied it to no end. Like I said in my ad it has never once seen the track (I have cars for that) and I would say 80% of the KM's I put on it were high way as I live on the edge of the city and I just liked the weekend ride out to Banff with the neighbour.
If you have been around the bike scene you know how easy it is to "write off" one of these if you look how much plastics are its ridiculous. The bike is solid and has no ticks, grinding or any other noises and I would be happy to bring it to a shop in town to have it inspected if you wish.

So from what 'in*10*se' posted, this bike has a "SALVAGE/REBUILT" title attached to it then ?

OP care to share a list of exactly the type of damage that made the title into salvage??

being that in the note posted it states it was from the original owner I doubt if he has any idea. but I can attest to the fact that it really doesn't take much for an insurance company to write a bike off.

First owner laid it down with 500kms on it.. got it fixed up by Alberta Cycle in Edmonton and rode it for another 300kms at which point I bought it and had it inspected again and it passed (or else I wouldnt have bought it) and now I have put another 5,400kms on it with no problems at all. Tracks perfectly straight, no wobbles at any speeds, no ticks or grinding of any kind. I have no problem bringing it to any shop to have it fully inspected as I have nothing to hide.

I am out of town and have a number of people coming to look at it so I will try and get back to you guys when I am back on monday if one of the people coming to look at it than do not pick it up.

so to answer his question you have no idea what happened to it other than it only had 500 kms on it when he did it?

Correct.. he told me back when I bought it 3years ago but I never planned on selling it so I never thought it would be anything to remember as I was thinking it would only ever pertain to me.

TECHNICALLY, it's not legal like that, nor is the lack of a red rear reflector and a red side reflector, the integrated signals, and yes even the exhaust

REALISTICALLY unless you're doing something else wrong to get pulled over in the first place you aren't going to get ticketed for any of them.

Yep exactly what Go4Long said

I have never been pulled over for it and I have had cops sit behind me at lights and such but if your not riding like a jack ass they wont pull you over for it. I was even pulled off in a parking lot (bragcreek gas station) and had an RCMP pull in and was looking at some of the bikes and came up to mine and was looking at it and said he really like it and how clean looking it was but never said anything about the licence plate, or turn signals (front or rear)
