has anyone seen flats of vitamin water for sale anywhere, maybe costco or super canadian wholesale? i've looked at both but didn't see them, but their stock seems to change a lot. i'm looking for a mixed pack or the lemonade flavor.

thanks

Jones Soda sells it online but I'm not sure if this is the stuff you're looking for.

How much is a flat? Pretty expensive I'm guessing.

i'm guessing about $1/bottle (like jones soda, which is similar priced)

Great thread. They run out at stores quickly, I'd love to buy them in bulk also.

I'm sure there will be people who say it's crap and unhealthy for you blah blah blah, but I love the taste and could have their drinks for a long while.

yea, i don't know how well the vitamins actually absorb, but i like drinking it cause it's not so sweet as sodas or juices. sometimes even when i'm super thirsty, i just can't bring myself to grab a soda cause it's damn sweet... i think i'm developing an aversion as i get older.

the lemonade flavor is totally dope - nice lemony but not too sweet like candy. unfortunately, that flavor is the rarest up here :(

The Green Tea one is tasty.

lemonade is good, if you like non super sweet lemonade, you could make it at home too. Just get lemons squeeze a few and add spring water and organic maple syrup to taste, very tasty and addicting.

I love xxx, defense, green tea. There's probably a bunch i have yet to try though.

Have you looked at Walmart? I've seen the individual bottles for sale there, not sure if they sell them in bulk also though.

I like the taste. Not sure if amount of vitamin etc is enough to be useful. Vitamin Water (Coke) vs the Aquafina (Pepsi). Vitamin Water has more flavours I believe.

At SunTerra, there is no deal in buying them in bulk, it's still the 2ish dollars per bottle. So if you want a lot of them, that's the place to go, but if you are looking to save money by buying them in bulk, you are screwed.

I have been looking since the fall, have never seen any in bulk, only individual bottles which sucks. It is still being phased in here though I believe. I could only find it at sait for the longest time.

Is there any nutrional info about this stuff? I noticed there isnt much on the side of the bottle. I love Vitamin Water, but i'd like to see how many vitamins and how much i'm getting from one bottle.

I like to know how much sugar is in it. I know Fuze has vitamin and etc and I believe it's a Coke product. What we don't want is too much sugar.

The cafeteria at work had some other brand of vitamin water. I think it's a local company. It didn't have much sugar and tasted rather bland. Somewhere in between would be good. Don't want aspertame, nor too much sugar but has to taste good.

Anyone who thinks that its good for you should give their heads a shake.

Might as well have a Mountain Dew followed by a One-A-Day.

but a bottle still contains less than a can of regular soda.

and what's wrong with sugar, anyhow?

seems like you're falling for the marketing more than the rest of us. no one here is claiming it's a "health food" (whatever that is). i like the flavors and it's less sweet than soda or juice. Adn, it does have less sugar per volume than regular soda.

so there :P

Yeah I guess if you drink it because of it's health benefits then it's not a good choice. IF you like the taste and don't mind 32g of sugar then it's good. I do like the taste, but I need to not drink it like it's healthy.

You can buy flats of it at the Safeway on 11 Ave and 9 St SW.

i saw flats at Co-op a few days ago. they sell them individually, so unless you remove one from the shrink wrap, you need to bring an extra bottle to the cashier so she can multiply the price by 12.

also, co-op has the lowest regular price i've found anywhere ($1.89 or something like that) and they sometimes have them on sale for $1.67.

just thought i'd let everyone know, since there seemed to be some interest in vitamin water flats.

Formula 50 and the jackfruit one(I think it is called Stress-B) are the best flavours!!

nonlinear
03-05-2009, 11:46 PM
haha do they have formula50 (:guns: ) in canada? i've never seen it.

i had jackfruit for the first time today, and I thought it tasted like dirt. i mean it was good, but it tasted like dirt.

So dirt tastes good?:dunno:
I usually just pop into Co-op to grab a few since it's close my home but they are lacking in flavours, big time.

unfortunately formula 50 does taste the best but i dont think they sell it anywhere around here?

Was at Superstore last night and noticed they were selling Vitamin water at $1.88/bottle and they are packaged in flats of 12.

Aquafina Plus+ is also only $1/bottle at Sobeys this week.

It says it has cane sugar which is more appealing to me than glucose fructose and what ever is in other drinks. It has 120 cals / bottle , compared to 160 in a can of coke.
