Pretty big fire last night on Cranleigh TC....a framed home went up in fire and took the old lottery showhome down with it....

here is the house the house....damn shame (had an indoor pool)

Thats what insurance is for.

Was everyone ok? The part I would hate about my home going up in flames is items that cannot be purchases again, photos, computer with personal information on it, etc!

Damn shame. Lot of work into this house.

Hopefully owner bought enough insurance to cover all the rebuilt.

Well after you mentioned photos, computers, and personal information all in the same sentence i was reminded of an old thread talking about a gentleman busted with 14TB of porn. thats all.

I'm buying a fireproof safe today to keep all copies of all our pictures, birth certificates, passports etc...

You think they're really fireproof?

I was trying to be sincere etc. I see you did a good job of taking that away :(

You can get some really fancy safes, and they have to meet certain requirements, at least you put an effort to protect your stuff.

Only to a point. They list how hot of temperatures, and how long they can survive in their ads.
