Its very simple man, get winpwn, and pwn the phone following the instructions, and then run yell0wsnow

make sure you havent upgraded it to 2.2

okay, so if i some how screw up anytime durring any of the two installation, is the phone still useable or it be all screwed up ?

so if the phone is brand new untouch would the firm ware be under 2.2?

would i also fallow these instructions?

check the firmware on ur phone in settings, if its 2.2 your sol

kinda confuse in the instruction says i have to be on 2.2 to be able to unlock the phone.

Ya, the 2 quotes above have no clue what they're talking about. You need to be on 2.2 for yellowsn0w unlock to work. It's 2.2.1 that you don't want to be on, then you're SOL.

anyone have success using Quickpwn 2.2.1? i just wanted some definite confirmation if it works before i upgrade/unlock again.

i find it to laod pretty slow when turn off / on the phone and since i had it , the phone frozed on me twice beside that everything seems to work fine. i tried using a t mobil sim card but it seem it didn;t pick up it works with a fido / rogers sim cards.

Looks like you can downgrade the baseband now. Search for 3GBBD. Fuji just figured it out for me (thx dude!) so I can use my phone in Spain.
