Everytime I shut down my computer or reboot, I select it then it takes like 4-5 minutes before the computer actually starts to shut down. What's causing it to do that?

Probably because you have a million processes running in the background that shouldnt be there. All these have to close before you shut down.

i have to same problem except when i click shutdown , it doesnt shutdown.....so they only way i can turn it off is if i go log off then switch user then turn off comp

any1 know the problem????


btw: iam using windows xp pro
