Bill of sale question...

I sold my car to an aquaintance (basically free) and gave him my old registration signed the back of it about 3 months ago... Now i got a message from my voicemail saying its in the impound and still stating that the vehicle is under my name still... Do i have to pay for everything? :banghead:

i just signed the back and gave it to him... it was at the impound before and he payed for everything to get it out there. so i just fax the impound lot everything including my consent for him to pick it up.

If this is the case then your friend probably never got the car properly registered in their own name, otherwise you never would have got that call.
