Does a car need to be registered and current, to be allowed to be parked on the street in front of my house?

city will tow and impound unregistered cars, this goes for alleys as well.
and in your driveway unregistered can get you a ticket from by-law...but probably only if someone complains

This is for a parts car that I will have until spring. So that is why I'm asking. I don't want to have to register a parts car... Well actually, I won't even be able to. Since it has no OOP.

I've done this before, as long as the car isn't a junker and doesnt sit in the same spot for months on end no one will notice.

So why don't you just drag this thing onto your driveway?

To be parked on the street, a car has to be registered & insured, if not, you will find yourself in court if the car is called in.

you'll need a plate with an updated sticker as well. I had a car towed from behind my house that had a plate on it, but expired sticker.
