was driving through westhills the other day when this caught my eye...

http://members.shaw.ca/sumps/trav4.jpg

There's another Rav4 in the city, 2 door, silver in color that has pink mudflaps and what looks to be an N1 on the back of it.. also has a buncha guages on the a-piller ... My question.. why???

I guess to each their own..
:dunno:

I gave some thought to blacking out the plate in the pic, but decided not to... I don't see the sense in taking the time to blank out the plates of vehicles like this... The owner obviously took the time to make his Rav4 look like the way it does because he wanted to get noticed.. He also decided to get personalized license plates for people to read... I really doubt that many people on the board have the resources availible to them to find out any information as to where the owner can be found based on his plate...
At least that's my thoughts as to why I won't blank out this plate.. anyone else care to share their opinion as to why plates should be blanked out?

LOL... i think Herpe plagued cocks would get a better response lol :barf:

Anways, i've seen that Rav-4 on the road and it doesn't look too bad. The blacked out GTS tailight covers are the only objectional thing i see on it. Besides that it definitely looks alot cooler than a stock Rav-4.

Was it bright yellow with a full body kit and about a 7" tach on the dash?? If so, we've got a bunch of pictures of that ride :dunno:

Travis lives fairly close to me, I see him almost everyday. Yea he used to work at Shanks for a while, not sure if he still does. and his younger brother drives a black Dakota R/T.

I own that 97 rav4 and the only reason that I did the work on it is because I have a true love for the car much like you honda owners. Some people like it and some don't, and really I don't care regardless, it original and that more then some honda owners can say. Travis!

well in my books its not too original....huge exhaust that serves no purpose? riiiiight with SUV's either stick with stock...which is probably the best....or go bling bling or go off-road......dont go ricer with a SUV original maybe.......stupid yes

I don't like it. Some cars just shouldn't be modded. It is original though.
