personally i'm not feeling the new corvette so much.
Or I just really like the current look too much.

That concept won't be anything like that by the time it hits the street (I hope).

meh chevrolet signed a contract with them, so be prepared to see more chevy good guys and ford or dodge bad buys. maybe even toyota now that would be worth it, fcukin toyotas.

It almost looks like X6; on the other hand the current one looks like sofa on wheels. E39 FTW

Something just seems wrong with Bumblebee being a Camaro and yet there are hatchbacks in the film....

It's just pretty crap that there had to be an exclusive deal, it really messes with who they can put in and as what cars.

And that Corvette is pretty crap. But I'm sure they'll get it looking spiffy before the actual production release. They've yet to make a production Corvette that isn't sexy as hell.

I think for the most part, that vette is kick ass. Everyone has to keep in mind that it is a concept. Just because the Camaro didn't change much, doesn't mean this concept won't.

Seriously - I love this though. That front view and those sides are dynamite. The rear end - not so much. Previously, they've kept the quad-light theme strong with each generation. This one almost completely does away with that.

I think the rear needs to have much softer curves, and those quad pipes look overkill.

The split window is an interesting heritage throwback.

i dont get it... why?? damn chevy!

That is such an ugly rear end. The exhaust tips look ridiculous. I love the current corvette, but my first impression of this thing is not good. Hopefully it changes a LOT before production.

LOL that 5 series gt is worse though. What are they going for with that interior :barf: Only thing i liked was that it looks like has DCT.

Looks aweseome! Also, it's also not the 'new' Corvette.

This a Stingray Corvette concept that will only appear like this in the Transformers movie as an homage to the the old Stingray and the classic GM evolutionary designers of old (50s-70s).

P.S - I agree that seeing the smaller cars in Transformers now makes Bumblebee look friggin dumb. Bumblebee was alway a Beetle -- a meek, cute, small car. That said, GM now has cute small cars that should be Bumblebee. Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't see the new Camaro as a meek, cute, small car at all. It's severe identity crisis.

I think it still looks pretty good, but remember that it's from one of the worst eras for car design in history.

I was ok with it for the first movie, I figured they didn't want to include shitty little econo cars. But here's the econo cars.....so now it makes no sense whatsoever

What would you rather have in it? The exciting toyota camery? How about the elusive honda fit? Take your pick!

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're a younger guy. At this point, the C4 could not be considered a modern design, nor a classic. But for '84, it was one of the best looking cars on the road... and you probably weren't into cars at that time; if you were even alive.

Let me know what non-exotic '84 car you felt looked better.

haha within the time period that the c4 was in production i'll give you a few examples. to compare the hideous c4 to:

RX7 - FCs and FDs came around when the c4 was being produced, and neither are as hideous as that corvette.

http://grm-imports.co.uk/images/RX7%20FIXED.jpg

300ZX - Z31 and Z32s were made during that time period too, again neither of them were as hideous as that corvette

BMW M1 & 8 series - the M1 is a tad tad older than the corvette, the 8 series just a tad newer but made while the c4 was around all and all, still better looking than the c4 thats for sure!

http://germancarscene.com/wp-content/uploads/bmw-m1-26-3-08.jpg

Mercedes W124s - All significantly better looking than the c4

Theres plenty more cars that look a billion times better than the C4 during the same timeframe :P

Wah Wah Wah. Any car that transform into a giant mech = awesome. I hope my favorite villain Barricade will be returning (saleen mustang). Regardless I'm totally looking forward to this flick. Will pay to see for sure
