Alright so I'm bout to get some new wheels for a 180sx, and I've narrowed it down to these two:
XXR 962 Black staggered 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 in the rear, +35 offset. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-XXR-962-Black-Staggered-Rims-Wheels-Nissan-240sx-S13_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1171Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem290296300917QQitemZ290296300917QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
Or: 18' Drag Gun Metal, 18x7.5 all around, +42, never really heard of these rims or the company but they look pretty sick and I don't have much 4-lug options. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-DRAG-DR11-GM-WHEEL-RIM-NISSAN-240SX-200SX-SENTRA-G20_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ72Q3a1171Q7c66Q3a2Q7c65Q3a12Q7c39Q3a1Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a0Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem200308619175QQitemZ200308619175QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

The first ones will have a better fit. The second ones won't sit anywhere near flush on an S13

I would suggest looking through this before making any buying decisions. It will show various offsets and sizes, mostly for the S13.

The second choice will look awful. I have 17x7 with +38 or+40 off set on my car and it looks like garbage.

Notice how the wheels are sunken deep into the wheel wells? This is going to look very close to the 18x7.5 rims.

I honestly think you should wait it out untill you can afford some nicer, better fitting wheels. You won't regret it.

High quality, nice fitting USED wheels > Low quality, not so great fitting NEW wheels...IMO.

Yeahh I might just wait it out, nice fuckin car by the way if that's yours lmaoo I'm almost 100% sure i have the exact same fuckin wheels on my s13 right now, just powdercoated black. Why don't you just lower it?

Yeah the money's not really the problem right now if I were to find a set I really liked.. just can't find too many 4 lug sets

Its lowered on springs right now. If I pull it out of storage this summer, it will see new coil overs and rims.

Yeah mine is in storage too, just wondering what type of kit you got on there and if those are type x tails? And are your wheels 4lug or 5.. but most importantly what rims are you goin with for summer?

Kit is a mismatch. Vertex rear, bomex sides, VIS front, they are kouki tails, and I have 4 lug still. I havnt decided on rims yet. Not sure if I want to go all out or not. Im mostly looking for something wider and with a decent sized lip.

sometimes you can find cheap rims localy.

heck I only paid $400 for mine with tires. if you are going to get a good set of rims dont do ebay. go brand name but thats just my opinion.

If I were staying 4 lug these would be on my car right now.

Just gotta be patient and wait for deals like these to pop up. These are a STEAL.

Fuck that was a sick deal.. I'm assuming they're sold.. so if you guys did have the money saved up what 4 lug wheels would you go with right now?

That would honestly be the worst offset possible!!!! super battleship. I have toyed with MANY offsets and wheels on my 240. You really don't have a ton of options till you get 5 lug :)

4lug offsets are very very limited. Im not trying to be a dick or anything, but if you looking at spending 400 bux off Ebay your going to be getting a shit set of wheels and wasting your money. Buy used and shop around till you get something more aggressive

Yeah yeah understandable.. but that's the thing I'm not too worried about the price it's just about finding a nice set with a decent offset, so price isn't a big issue

I'd agree with alot of the people and hold off,
But go with the Black and Red if you do.

I'd get a set of the 5Zigen GN+ or Volk TE37's

But i really Like the 5Zigen FN01R

look into m2 hanbai nc10r or dt05r

they come in 4 lug and pretty good sizes and offsets. and i think there still relatively cheap but you'll have to order them online.

jack tells me those are sold

but there is a few cheaper 4-lug options that come in 17x9 +20 which is a great size for stock body, just roll the fenders a bit and toss on a 215/45 and you are set

my old falken rims were 17x9 +20 and for all four were $800CAN at my door
