Does anyone know where I can find best selection? How about prices?

The selection isn't that great, but Superstore Liquorstore has some great prices on scotch.

16 year Lagavulin for ~$65... 17 year Macallan's for ~$90.

Can't go wrong

Any scotch will do, as long as it's not a blend, of course. Single malt, Glen Livet, Glen Galley, perhaps, any glen.

Willowpark or Westhills Liquor Depot.

I used to work that the westhills LD years ago, and we prided ourselves on our selection, but as for price, LD tends to be a little more than everywhere else.

LIQUOR DEPOT!!?!?!? that is one of the shittiest chains in the city (and liquor barn, too, cause they are the same company). they have a TINY, shitty selection of everything and a super inconsistent supply... so you can't depend on them at all. and recently, the one near my house has been drastically reducing their stock - like down to just a few per item!

that place doesn't even come close to willow park.

Kensington Wine Market  For the staff and selection. Andrew knows his shit.

Superstore is good for the more common stuff, price wise its excellent. Don't expect anyone there to know anything about Whisky tho.

The Glens are good starter scotches... cheap, not overpowering, and people won't shit on you for chucking in water and ice as you're easing yourself into it. The Glenlivet is my personal favorite of the Glens.

After you get tired of the Glens I'd say get a bottle of 15 year Dalwhinnie and 16 year Lagavulin. The Dalwhinnie is light, butterscotchy, and smooth while the Lagavulin is dark with lots of peat and smoke. The difference is night and day.

i used to work at superstore liquor store and there prices are unmatchable however they are lacking in selection. Go there if you are looking for not an obscure single malt such as glenfiddich, glenlivet, johnnie walker and so on

They have a scotch expert on site, and it seems like he knows quite a bit about the stuff.

Thank you all for response. Went to Superstore, they have decent selection and great prices. In some cases it is $15-$20 less per bottle when compared to other places.
