looking for name brand or anything? I saw a set at the Fitness store (beside Sport Check) Deerfoot mall last week, could be a good place to check out.....its in the back corner where all the boxing stuff is.

Check out Honor the Culture on 17th Ave SW. Just above the Yardhouse. They're getting more and more mma gear in, and can order you gear from there for a good price.

If any beyonders go check out this store, ask for Jake or Jay and tell em Kerry sent ya there. They also sell Taverniti, Tapout, Hitman fight gear, some UFC stuff, Chii clothing (I have 2 of their shirts), Faith, Fairtex, and some other random neat stuff.

i bought a pair of used ones from mike miles for 50 bux...they were in pretty rough shape but i bought it so i can hold pads for my dad (never did use it, though, lol!). you can call them up if they've got a few pairs lying around that they want to get rid of.

If you call Hilda you can go see what she has, she is on Bonaventure it's just in her house and she is very nice and easy. I buy all my uniforms there, she will mix black top and white bottoms etc.

brand new thai pads are going to be expensive, though, so i don't know if the OP wants to spend lots of money on it. but if you get the cheap ones, i don't know if it'll last you very long.

OP, have you contacted any of the places previously mentioned?
