Wow I hate this show and try to find things to do around the house when the woman puts it on.

Last night however I saw this her name is Casey or something, however her name is not important.

Anyone who watched the grammys would know that it certainly isn't signing ability.

Most of the live acts were shit as were the singers on AI.

I don't get this show. If they have a contest to see who's best, why would they have another the following year? Wouldn't the next best be the person who got second on the first contest? It doesn't make sense.

The type of people who would watch the Grammy's won't notice no matter how shitty the "performers" are.

The entire music industry is a fucking dinosaur. Sure, there's a smattering of decent mainstream bands, but for the most part, the music industry no longer has any way to gauge actual public reaction. Record sales don't mean shit anymore, I'm not sure if videos even exist, radio stations are so tightly controlled by their parent media group that they have no leeway, etc.

Luckily for them, most people are easily marketed to, so they are now in a position to be able to tell them what they want to hear, then manufacture that.
Public gullibility has led to the music "industry" being able to control what people want based on what they can most easily produce, instead of having to produce what people actually want.


There are a ton of great artists out there. And you'll almost never hear any of them on the radio. Everybody is too busy listening to Rihanna for Iron & Wine to get any radio play.

The worst part was how she had to change every frickin' line of the song to make it gender-correct.
