UK Passports in Canada

Guys/Gals,

I am a Canadian born British citizen and I'm about to send off my documents to get my UK passport.

Recently the UK Consulate in Toronto stopped accepting passport applications and now they must be sent to Washington to be processed.

Has anyone had problems or do you guys have advice to make this process go more smoothly?

How long did it take for your passport to arrive?

I a Canadian UK citizen as well and my application went to the UK.

I thought they went to the high consulate in Ottawa. Pretty weird if you ask me for them to change that and make us send our stuff to a third country.

I agree sending a UK passport application to the US?? That's a little strange.. But who knows, I've heard of weirder. hehe
