i sign up for 2 years contract since july of last year. i gone there like twice and never went back. Now credit bureau are after me saying i own gold gym $2000.

when i sign up i never give them my banking info or credit card number.

what should i do?

Consider this:

Contracts are legally binding. My buddy tried the same thing with golds, and now he can't even get a credit card.

You are fucked. If you didn't give them a credit card/bank info, check your credit score. If it didn't affect it, then you might be able to get away without paying , but you'll be hasseled for a long time by debt collectors. They'll fuck off eventually if they don't have access to your credit.

I was told you could pay $200 to get out of the contract. Better than not paying the monthly fee and getting a massive bill in the end

At what point after the two times you went did you decide not to pay the monthly? You could have paid $200 then and got out of the contract. Now you're fucked if they have access to your credit. Its half a year later and now you decide its the time to do something about it? :facepalm:
