To all AE86 owners!!

I'm currently looking for a project ae86 and i'm wondering what to look out (common problems?) for when buying one.

Rod knock (make sure the oil pressure gauge reads around the middle at idle)
Rear diff whine
Seized calipers
Rust
Oil leaks from the oil cooler lines
Cracked radiator
Rust

yeah check for rust! especially around the bottom of the strut towers

there seems to be this common issues with all AE's...

In Japan they call it rokushou...

But here in North America it's called rust...

get an ae86 from Japan, that cuts all those problems to by 2/3 or even fully cuts em

here you go, $1000 gets you a car and a engine, they have to be joined together but the engine included i believe if you got it from a shop like jdm source would cost you $1000 by itself

haha that's funny you telling me what I can and cannot get,

It's not like I would get an ae86, but I can If I needed for 5k or under, and no It's not a POS, close to 150k though, most ae's are

most ae's are not that cheap, out of 3 classified sites the cheapest i found was 290k fob and it was a pos, body damage, miss aligned body parts, missing interior pieces, etc.

and no these are not prices from imports....
