They are going to mercilessly make fun of it... apparently the British (believe it or not) know less about Canada than Americans do... they seem to think it's just one big, permanently snow covered wasteland with everyone living in log shacks.

Unfortunately, from what I understand this was done by "Top Gear America", the North American section of Top Gear Magazine and as such doesn't have anything to do with the TV show. :(

Actually, I think that alot of people on Beyond would agree (since a lot of Beyond is fairly well travelled) that this is, in fact, the case. Except change the "all" for "most of"... or at least they aspire to be.

CWS Tuning will get good coverage out of that. For those who don't know, these are the same guys that put that Cadillac Northstar V8 into a MK2 Golf :D
TDI swap into any previous gen is quite common though :dunno:.

I actually never went to their NYE party, as I was with my brother/future sister-in-law at O'Sullivans. However, I have been to their new place.

Top Gear USA was canned by NBC...they're trying to find an alternative network to run the show and cover the high costs.

Maybe speed will pick it up, or spike tv? If they pick up shows like VIP, and "Stripperella" i can't imagine them rejecting this.
