V60i is superior to the T720 in every way.

The T720 was motorola's biggest mistake...after the V70.

The T720 is known to have the software just lock up the phone. It happened to my bro.

I was about to buy one but I went and check out a few cell phone forums.

The T720s software locks up unexpectedly.

A lot of users have their phones turn on and off for no apparent reason, even when the battery is full.

The reception is very bad on them.

The menus freeze or are extremely slow and they take long to navigate.

It's a problem filled phone, which is why you find that most v60s are still selling for more, even though the T720 was marketed as being a top of the line color clamshell phone.

The v60 is a great phone. The v70 was not, again for a lot of reception issues. PM calarina on here, she has one and gave me a very thorough explanation when I inquired about her experience with the phone. I found that a lot of other 720 users had the same problem.

v66 is not comparable to the v60i in any regard.

V66 has no external display, the v60i does

V66 has no dedicated alarm clock, v60i does

V66 is worth about $150 less than the v60i

V66 does not have interchangeable faceplates, the v60i does (you can change a tiny portion of the v66 that covers the sim card but its still kinda gay).

V66 is made of plastic, the v60i is made of metal

There is no comparison between the two phones. The only advantage the v66 MIGHT have is that it's lighter, which is probably because the v66 is made of plastic and the v60i is made of metal. The v60i will not creak like a plastic phone will.

all I've heard about that V66 is that it's a piece-of-ship compared to the V60i

Another difference is that the v60i comes in TDMA or Tri-Band gsm
V66 uses the new 850 Mhz here in North america

V60i actually comes in GSM (Tri-band-900/1800/1900 MHz), TDMA, and CDMA.

The V66 is also GSM (Tri-band-900/1800/1900 MHz) it does not operate on 850 Mhz.

Good choice going with the V60i.

The second best phone I have ever owned if I was basing it strictly on reception and sound quality.

Sometimes phones don't have the best firmware so people may experience problems with them. I've owned 4 different V60's and never had any problems.

I just got the V60i and I've been extremely happy with it. The reception is much better than with my Nokia. The sound quality is better, and voice recognition actually works.

Yeah I found the voice recognition to work well on the V60i as well. I tried it on alot of my phones but it worked best with the V60i.
