Seems to be so many products available now. I remember they introduced LED angel eyes but i didn't like how there were so many gaps in between. I think since then there have been a few companies improving on it.

Just wondering what is good choice now a days. Don't want anything too crazy, (For e92 coupe) prefer LEDs but don't like the gaps. If you have them on your car, can you provide a picture?

Also how hard are some of these new ones to install? If anyone can do an install, pm me to save myself the hassle of doing it myself.

On the e92, it is just a bulb change. The LED versions are $200+ USD.

I put in some GP thunders... do a search on e90post for pics.

They don't open super easy like the e46. You have to bake them in the oven.

I might still have a coupon code for ordering AngeliBrights. Let me know if you're interesting. It's what I have in my E39, and they're wicked.

Dude, you have to oven 04+ coupes as well (e46 chassis)

Its just to separate the two lenses, it's so easy, and you're far from "hacking" your bimmer.

L.E.D FTW. No cold issues, especially up here in calgary. I hate having one ring purple, one not even illuminated, and 2 half bright because of cold issues.

And I do not like the L.E.D bulb replacement for the e92, to get them white over stock halogen. I like the 80LED rings.

The stock angel eyes are only circular when looking dead ahead at them, on angles, you are missing rings, and the middle ones appear brighter.

The E46 M3 was never face lifted. That is what funk had. That is what I have.

I put in the LED angels in the E46 and went with a bulb replacement, that has no cold issues, on the E92.

The problem with baking is that it can get messy and can result in leaks. Not worth the trouble IMO.

The e92 headlights are not as easy to open as e46 headlights after baking. Fact.

Yeah true and i wouldn't attempt it myself. The picture i provided was from a guy on the forums that does it for other people. Just something to look into, i don't like the idea of "baking" my headlights at all, but the look achieved at the end is killer!

I wasn't disputing the fact that e46 m's never received a facelift.

You had said e46 chassis, so I made a comment that certain cars did have to be baked.

The cold start issues are for the CCFL rings I have, all LED products + is that they do not have this.

Civictyper, your sig is HUGE! and nice wheels, don't know if you recall, but a couple summers ago we were driving side by side downtown and I comment on your wheels, then you noticed I have the same ones ;) except mine are staggered
