What?

Lately I have gotten the image that not many people drive audi or if they do they are hardly ever tuned, It's like no one likes these cars, is it cause their expensive. Ive had an audi like since forever and i have only seen a few on the roads, I mean whats up why does anyone not drive Audi.

Because they're overrated. IMO, they seem to have good power potential, but the quattro is so safety conscious that the cars will pull mad understeer. I've also heard bad things about their steering by wire, it's supposedly gives horrible feeling for how the road actually is.

there are pleanty of audi's modded, just not around here. The major problem with an audi is weight. unless you get an S4 you really dont have much potential fo overcomming that issue. other than that, super pimp cars.

Decent enough cars. Very safe to drive in any condition, very difficult to have fun in due to very aggressive traction control and vehicle dynamics systems. Too bad they don't have anything in their lineup with nearly as much potential as the Ur-Quattros had.

from what I understand, and the reason I didn't buy one, they have poor reliability and are expensive to fix. That and they depreciate like hell. Check out some 3-5 year old A6's

Check out some 3-5 year old A6's This is true of the older audis, not so much any more from the reliability standpoint. A lot of the audi parts come from the VW parts bin. Most VWs are pretty bulletproof for the first 5-7 years of ownership. They do tend to lose a lot of value, they still have a reputation carried over from the 80s and early 90s to overcome. If you ever had an electrical problem in one of those models, it was cheaper to set the car on fire and get something else than it was to try and fix it.

You can get i think its a 99 s4, that weighs like 300 pounds lighter than the current one, with the a6 2.8L bi-turbo engine. The car just hauls, and you could at the time we were lookin at them, get them fairly cheap used, ie: 26000, no tax, in bc atleast, this was a couple years ago tho, havnt really lookd into audis latly.
