sleepers definatly rule! Nice car.

Isn't it fun having a motor in a car that wasn't made for it :)

o yeah i remember reading an article about an EG that had a B16, and ran 11's with only those alloys, turbo, and nitrous. and if i remember right your car is lighter than theirs. and stay away from a fmic if you decide to do that.

And if he goes turbo...where should he mount his intercooler? The trunk? Fucking knob!

He was probably refering to a air/water intercooler. I was going to run one before (better efficiency than air/air) but they aren't made for daily driving. I say if you go turbo go for a nice air/air intercooler. I've known a few people who've giving theirs a very light coating of black paint and it looked stealth and still worked great!

i guess youve never heard of sidemounts????? or he could easily go with a water injection system.

and those wheels are for an accord, and they were an option on just about every honda.

Im not gonna go total sleeper. But for now, just keep the steelies over winter, then get some rims in the spring. Im not to sure on what rims though. I want to get it painted in the spring too. Im thinking a really dark burgandy/redish. Thanks for the feedback.

Nice! That's sweet car man. But for sure, keep the sleeper concept, SIR mag's are screeming your name. My uncle wants to do that same swap for his 89 Civic 4- door, but people are giving him prices around 8 grand. where did he pick up the amberish red corner's? are they painted?

Intercooler and water infection are two different things.

I don't know much about Honda motors. This car with a B16 motor swap ,what kind of power will it make? How about 1/4 times?

Is the B16 an easier motor to turbo?

160hp... will run low 15's in calgary

origonally from sir civic's and crx's in japan :nut:

Thanks, and I did mean injection not infection;)

That's not a bad deal, so if you throw in a b16 in decent shape you won't have a problem running 15's?

yup... a 5th gen civic coupe (heavier) ran 14.9's i believe.... b16, open header.

Yeah, Lee was his name...Taller White Guy,

Hes the guy that I raced a whole bunch at the track...Best time I saw was 15.7, so yeah, you're definatly in the 15's with decent driving. :)

I would own him off the line to the 1/8th and he would make up the ground in the last stretch and we'd finish even. Great guy, nice car.

Just get one header.

I would possibly look into perhaps some head work, (cams, porting, etc) but those cars come pretty optimised as it is...gotta go FI to see more gains unless you pour a TON of cake into building an N/A race car.
