Missed quite a few classes due to a bunch of hospital visits this semester and am behind in stats. Anyone know if there is like statistics for dummies books haha. I'm completely serious as well. I passed business math with a 98 so I'm really good at math so this class should be easy if I can catch up.

Anyone know of any books on elementary stats that could help me get caught up on the basics??

which stat class? type in the syllabus or course description. stats is a broad subject.

There's a bunch for all kinds of stats in the U of C bookstore "reference" section.

Idiots guide to Statistics.... for sure. The library should have a copy.

One of the main reasons I passed through integral calculus was because of "calculus for dummies"...

You talked to your prof yet? Might as well see exactly what concepts he's covering for your assessments so you don't waste time going over stuff you won't need to know. All the STATS classes seem to be structured quite a bit different. We don't use a text in my 220..our teacher suggested picking up Stats for Dummies if we wanted to use it as a course text lol.

If you go to SAIT they offer free tutoring in the PLAR center, my stat220 teacher refered me there after i missed a couple classes
