I mentioned to you guys about a stock that would be moving up soon because it was up for sale? When I first mentioned this it was trading at 2.90 well today it hit 3.60 ;)

u know it's actually illegal to do that??

some kid in the states got busted last year going on chats and stuff and telling everyone this stock was hot, then sold off his shares when the price went up. made a ton of money that way

Yup Big time charges ... you should really chill out about the whole "Stock Tips" ... or at least through a source that can't be traced :thumbsup:

You guys watch too many movies...Boiler Room was based on a brokerage house creating false companies and hyping the shit out of them to potential investors/victims, taking their money and then dumping the stock. A good example of this was 90% of the "dot" com companies from a couple years ago. Who's stocks were inflated beyond belief. I lost a lot of money to a company like that WILAN and UBS.

Man, I could have made 24%(!!!!) on that stock tip, and I didn't truly believe it.:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It's just I don't 100% trust things posted up on forums, that's all, especially when it involves money. I had the money, but I don't trade/invest in stocks anyways, oh well.

You should have seen ECA (Encana) from mid-July up to now, gone up $10/share (26%). I have to start trading sometime!
