Don't BMW come with variably timed camshafts from the factory? I thought they all had VTEC now.

It's VANOS to the douchebags... :D VTEC and VANOS are very different things. VTEC is actually physically switching cam lobes, varying both lift and timing, whereas VANOS only adjusts timing. BMW uses Valvetronic for varying lift.

IIRC VTEC is still the only system that uses two distinct seperate cam lobe profiles.

My mistake, wasn't sure how the v-tec/i-vtec/vanos/everything differed. :thumbsup:
